Our Building
Nurture Nature Center is housed in a beautifully renovated facility in the center of downtown Easton. The building, which has been certified as historic by the National Park Service, has a long and rich history. We use most of the space in this wonderful setting for our science, art, and community programs, and our exhibits.
The top floor features our spacious Science Hall where our science and art exhibits are located. We also have a handsome architecturally restored meeting space on that floor, which we call the Delaware Room, that can seat 100 people and is equipped with modern technology for audio/visual presentations and meeting needs. Our staff work out of offices on the middle floor. Finally, the ground floor features a huge open area with high ceilings that once served as a movie theatre, which NNC often uses for larger art installations and community functions.
When not otherwise in use, the Science Hall, the Delaware Room, and the theater-sized space on the ground floor are all available to rent for meetings and conferences, celebrations and other special occasions. To see pictures and get details about renting the space, please visit our rentals page.
