The Hubble Night Sky Challenge is taking us through the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond! Join us on the first Saturday each month at the Nurture Nature Center from 4 – 5 pm. We’ve joined NASA and the Astronomical League on a year-long quest to explore notable features in our Universe, celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope.
For those who’d rather explore space from the comfort of home, rather than the fresh air of night, there’s something for you too! With access to the Internet, the entire Universe is at your fingertips. Earth-based and space-based telescopes are gathering more data than you can possibly imagine. Several lifetimes would be required to sift through it all.
As a result, NASA needs you; no experience or telescope required! Here’s your chance to make truly meaningful observations. The Citizen Scientist program offers regular people, like you and me, a chance to participate in real science. Your eyes could lead to discoveries that change our very understanding of the Cosmos.
Find out more on the first Saturday of the month and appreciate how Science Matters!
