NNC invites all residents, business owners, municipal officials and other community leaders to participate in our CREATE Resilience Community Forum and Exhibit Opening on September 26th from 6-8:30 pm. We welcome guest speaker Dr. William Solecki from the Consortium for Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast to present on climate change and resilience. Read More -
These community meetings will share the findings from the recently updated Lehigh Valley Hazard Mitigation Plan, and will help residents and community leaders to learn about the hazards in their communities, what mitigation strategies have been identified, and how they can stay involved in building a more resilient community. The project, CREATE Resilience: Community Resilience through Education, Art, Technology and Engagement, will support a four-year education project that will work with teens and adults in Easton, Wilson and Bangor to help develop knowledge and a community vision for resilience. Read More -
